The volunteer spotlight shines brightly on...
Make-A-Wish Foundation of Idaho sincerely appreciates the loyal volunteers who continually devote their time and effort to making the dreams of Idaho children come to life.
This month we are pleased to pay tribute to amazing volunteers Sue and Jim Jones. Sue and Jim play a vital role in the success of the Stories of Light campaign and have been dedicated Make-A-Wish volunteers for numerous years. Each year Sue, Jim and their daughter Kelly generously spend the morning after Thanksgiving putting up Stars in the Unico Properties for the Stories of Light visual campaign. Sue and Jim also volunteer their time with administrative and fundraising tasks as well. The countless hours put forth by Sue and Jim make it possible for us to enrich the lives of so many Idaho children. Thank you very much Sue and Jim!
This month we would also like to pay tribute to Julie DuBois. Julie DuBois, R.N., first came to the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Idaho in November of 2006 and has shown herself to be a dedicated volunteer and an exemplary individual! Julie actively refers eligible wish children she comes in contact with at St. Luke’s Regional Medical Center and also invests countless hours in granting wishes. Most recently, Julie and partner John Field transformed a local church in Weiser, Idaho to a true fairyland, in preparation for Abigail’s wish to meet Belle, from Beauty and the Beast. Julie’s calm demeanor, tireless spirit and her desire to better the lives of others is both encouraging and inspiring. She is an invaluable asset to our organization.
